Hilarity Bites Comedy Club: Edinburgh Preview Shows

Hilarity Bites Comedy Club present a season of top Edinburgh preview shows on Saturday nights throughout July featuring some of the biggest names on the UK comedy circuit at Whitby Coliseum.

Acts appearing during this season of shows include:

(*Please note that the performance scheduled for July 3rd featuring Chris Ramsey and one other guest has unfortunately had to be cancelled by the organisers. We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience that this may cause. However, the remaining performances do go ahead as scheduled.)


Pete Firman + Rob Rouse Whitby 17-07

July 17th – Pete Firman & Rob Rouse

Hilarity Bites presents an Edinburgh preview show from one of the most requested acts in recent times – along with one of the best UK acts on the UK circuit at present.

Prepare to be amazed and amused by Britain’s leading comedy magician as he returns to Edinburgh with “the best tricks in the universe”(Independent). After sell-out shows at the festival in 2007/08/09 Pete has established himself as one of Edinburgh’s hottest tickets. Television appearances include ‘Monkey Magic’ (FIVE), ‘Dirty Tricks’ and ‘Derren Brown’s 3D Magic Spectacular’ (Channel4) and ‘For One Night Only’ (ITV1).

Rob Rouse

Star of 8 out of 10 cats, Friday Night Project & Spoons, Rob’s triumphant return to Edinburgh last year won him fantastic critical acclaim. A sell-out festival run, followed by a national tour took his trademark comedic storytelling to a career high. This year Rob is knuckling down. Girlfriend, toddler, dog… check! However, you can’t live off high spirits and adrenaline forever, the honeymoon’s over. Now the hard bit; sorting himself out.
